November 5, 2008The morning after the election of Barack Obama, congratulations were already posted on the Escola Parque Blog before Lovejoy arrived at school.
My in box contained e-mail from Tyrone. The Lovejoy students and I were touched to realize how much a U.S. election affects people in other parts of the world, how it gives them hope.
The following Skype call took place that morning with the students.
The excitement of the election was reason for celebration. Lovejoy students partied and posted pictures on Orkut for the Brasilian students to see.
