August, 2006 Enhancing Education Through Technology Grant is announced by district superintendent. Whoo Hoo!!! No more reading sloppy handwriting. Students can type their papers now.
November, 2006 Just returned from Technology Conference in Springfield. They want us to do this integration project. I didn't even understand what they were talking about. Plus my computer kept messing up. These men seemed to know what they were doing. I am clueless. Maybe I'd rather not have computers in my room after all. Superintendent, Middle School Lead Teacher, Technology Coordinator, and I am a team -- whatever that means. I don't think I can do this.
April, 2007 Just returned from Technology Conference in Springfield. They chose our Integration Project to go to NECC 2007 -- whatever that is. I wonder why they call it a computing conference when we are working with digital cameras, document cameras, interactive whiteboards, scanners...
July, 2007 Just returned from NECC. This was a huge conference. Lots of people want information about what we are doing. Maybe after I worked this hard, they should have to work as hard -- nah, I will send them what they ask for, noone deserves this kind of torture.
